Apple re-closes its stores in 4 states

Apple re-closes its stores in 4 states

After the economy reopened in the US, the number of new cases began to increase in the coronavirus outbreak. While this was a concern, Apple was one of the first companies to take steps to prevent.

According to the report in Reuters, Apple has decided to re-close 11 stores in Florida, Arizona, Solar Carolina and North Carolina states, where the number of cases is growing rapidly. With this announcement, the company's shares fell 0.5 percent.

The company opened 100 stores in the first place in the USA in late May. Measures such as taking a certain number of people in the store, measuring the customers' fever at the entrance, the necessity of a mask, and frequent disinfection of products were implemented.

Apple's retail chief, Deirdre O'Brien, said in a previous statement, “We will make our store-related decisions based on local data. The reopening of shops is not hasty decisions. If local conditions require it, we can close stores again as a precaution. ”

The number of people with coronavirus detected in the USA has exceeded 2 million 200 thousand people. According to the latest data, 118 thousand 396 people died due to the epidemic.

Most Popular iOS Version Announced on iPhones

Apple announced which version of iOS was used most on iPhone phones. Accordingly, iOS 13 is by far the most used iOS version. As for the devices sold in the last 4 years, the rate is even higher.

Apple has released statistics on the most used operating systems on iPhones. According to these statistics, as of June 17, 2020, 81 percent of iPhone owners use iOS 13, 13 percent use iOS 12, and 6 percent use previous firmware versions. In the case of devices sold after June 17, 2016, iOS 13 rate rises to 92 percent, while iOS 12 drops to 7 percent and previous firmware versions to 2 percent.

According to other statistics, 73 percent of iPads use iPadOS 13, 16 percent use iPadOS 12, and 11 percent use older firmware versions. For devices sold in the past four years, this rate has increased to 93 percent for iPadOS 13, while iPadOS 12 drops to 5 percent and previous firmware versions to 1 percent.

Apple is expected to compensate for iOS 13's frustration with iOS 14. According to recent claims, the iOS 14 update will be released for all devices running its predecessor, iOS 13. Apple plans to introduce the new mobile operating system iOS 14 at the World Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 22, if there is no delay due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

All devices that will receive the iOS 14 update are as follows: iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, iPhone SE (2016), iPhone 7/7 Plus, iPhone 8/8 Plus, iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS / XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro / Pro Max and iPhone SE 2020.
